  1. you had a solid offense, just like you claimed. also exceptional d. i only moved the ball my first two drives and i'll admit the second one was pretty flukey. good game(even tho you beat my ass).

  2. After suffering an ass kicking by you mr craw, I realized that a huge breakdown in my defense was the inability to stop the qb from burning me on the qb scramble. What are some preventive measures to stop the qb scramble without hurting the integrity of my defense? ie. What spy defenses in NCAA 10 work the best? And is a man spy scheme better than a zone spy defense?

  3. There are 2 keys to prevent your opponent from scrambling, blitzing and containment. I like to hot route qb spy with my fast backside DE and user blitz from the front side. The play "QB Trap" out of dime 3-2-6 is a good example of this concept. The key is to get to the Qb before he has the chance to hurt you on the ground. You will notice that people who scramble a lot with their Qb's are not the best passers in the world, blitz them and force them to stay in the pocket and throw the ball. If you don't like to blitz try to use a combination of containment and spy among your d linemen. I like to contain my ends out of quarters and hot route my nose to spy. Be careful running man against scrambling QB's as well, your defenders will run with the WR's leaving lots of space for big gains. Overall if you are looking to prevent your opponent from scrambling, Use 3 man fronts to keep speed on the field, put a fast end in a spy technique (85 speed or above), and blitz off the front side with a nickel back or safety.

  5. You are by far the best player I have ever played against. Everytime I play you (twice) i kick the crap out of about 5 people after i lose to you. It is always a great learning experience, but last time I gave you a run for your money haha losing 27-20. But you let your guard down at the end. I like the offense you run. You dont run 1 cheap play that works everytime. You read the defense and win like a real champ. Overall good opponent and you do yo thang!

  6. hey man i just played you and got beat pretty bad.. i realized that you liked throwing to the RB after a rollout with pryor (which is exactly what i used to do in 09) so i subbed in my fastest cb in for my mlb in the 1-5-5 and put him in man coverage on your RB almost every play but it still didn't work. any suggestions? and i really want a rematch when im my real team the UF gators not USC who you destroyed me with... TRETOR is lookin for a rematch

  7. When you sub a corner in at MLB, his awareness is like 36. With this 36 awareness your CB does not have the capability to properly react to the RB's routes. I like to man the RB up with a safety or corner, make sure you maintain outside leverage on the RB, anticipate the RB to cut to the wide side of the field. Safeties and corners cover very well in this game, this is why I usually run the nickel, dime, or quarters defense. I would also suggest running zone and keep a corner in the flats on the wide side of the field. You could also user your middle backer to cover the RB, but this is hard and can lead to some big plays.
