Points and ranking system
I agree that the ranking system is flawed, people like Spurrier Era just playing 2000 noobs to get to the top of the leader boards. Any ideas on how to change the system?

Could have based on more of a power ranking, similar to USSSA softball. Don't know if you know what that is but it has to do with who you beat not how many wins you have!
ReplyDeleteYeah, then people like me drop about 150 spots just because they lagg out about 50 times... I mean really there are about 8 or 9 people in the top 20 that can be manhandled but they won't play you if you're above .500 haha
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I can think of is to make the formula for earning skill points greater. As in make playing lvl 1's worth less and playing someone better than you worth a lot more than 25 skill points or w/e the average may be.
ReplyDeleteOr they make it so that the top100 is only for people who have an avg opponent lvl of something like 14 or so. Something like that.
The point system is somewhat like this, if you beat someone at home you get less, if i beat a 1 i get almost no points. But i agree that if i beat a lev 40 i should get hella points

ReplyDeleteGuys, this is DVBUENTE AGAIN, I'm an avid follower of Craw's blogs and tips. Take into consideration what everyone tosses on this blog. It's all worth it. I've picked up some great tips.
ReplyDeleteSo I've got some good news and some bad news. The good news... I'm playing CHOOD, the biggest glitching joke there is. You know he runs the option pass and if you're in man he chucks it or runs since your db's backs are turned or if you're in zone he just runs it w/ his qb. Well he is Tennessee and I'm Michigan. He comes out w/ Eric Berry at qb. Note- I have put Wright (Cb from USC at qb) before and I'm guilty of it. But I only tried it out for about 10 games. This guys does it every game. Anyway, so I whoop his ass 24-7 in the 3rd and I'm on the 3 yard line. He starts jumping off sides. Guess what? It didn't give him the loss, or me the win! I thought the glitch was fixed, but wow! He messaged me saying that he doesn't care what people think and he only glitches people like me who run the same play over and over again (triple option!). He runs the same option pass every play haha so I thought it was hilarious. Anyway, the good news is that someone again exploited him as a joke and he will always be a joke. The bad news is that you don't move up in the rankings and don't get the win b/c of this glitch. People like CHOOD, who is #6 on xbox360 are jokes.
If you want to know how to stop his option pass, go to the 3-3-5 defense and run the basic formation. Go to the man/DE contain play and just let it rip. Make sure you have some fast linebackers or safeties at your outside backer spots. He will have to pitch it, so user w/ your free safety against the tailback or his pitching hand. He pulls up to chuck it deep, since Berry has a cannon. So make sure you back off your corners and allow them to make a play.
Let me know if anyone else waxes this joke.

First of all im going to exploit every player on NCAA 2010 lets start with Mr. Craw you have the nerve to make a website to try and help othes get better ur no good your self you nano blitz and puts chiles at QB from texas who is a reciever and runs option all day not to mention you put DB'S on the D line sounds like a bunch of cheese to me, i mean u pick Texas Colt McCoy is the best it gets on this game he is moble wit great arm. Next lets get on BillOSU i dnt think this guy plays anyone with more than 3 wins he is just abosolutly horrible him and spurrier needs to be put out the top 100 they play no one.
As far as LDEEZY CUTIGER and BYU4EVER they are good solid players who dnt cheat to my knowledge and deserve to be in the top 10.
Now B5 is the biggest glitcher in the gam he does just about evey glitch possible i mean he needs to be kicked off Xbox live.
Other notable glitchers who glitch games are AngryPelini, DBake81 B5, Spurrier ERA Tonio94 InspectorGadget, Allskills, CHOOD ( SO I HERE) and many other people.
But let me Tlk about CHOOD he is on my friends list but i think he is a good player we are in parties all the time ad he exlains eveything to me and it kind sense. Peep this he said he plays according to other players like if som one puts demps at QB and runs 2 plays the whole game and happens to win he said he glitches ppl like that and he does cheese if others do, which i mean it makes snse because anyone that runs 3 back sets the whole game and runs 3 plays all game sucks and then they have the nerve to chew clock from the jump ppl like that sucks. Im 3 and 3 vs Hood and we have good games everytime. In my opinion its a dog eat dog world gotta do what you gotta do cause ppl like craw, B5 etc.... act like they are so perfect and they cheese they damn selfs.

My avg opponent level is 15, which is around 10th in the top 100. I'm ranked 89. And I used Michigan b/c they give me good points since they are unranked and do well in the triple option. What emotional attachment do I have to this video game? None! So I don't care if I use Michigan or Florida or LSU or USC, all of which are my top 4 teams and have kicked OSU's ass recently! Isn't that weird? Must be. It's just a game, and they give me the most points for winning games since I am using an unranked team! No, Miami and Clemson cannot run the triple option, so don't go there!

DVBUENTE AGAIN... As far as your boy Chood goes, I call complete bs on the whole "well he glitches if they glitch..." that's the biggest bunch of horse shit I've ever heard. When I came out against him w/ Florida's playbook w/ Texas a long time ago, he ran that gay option pass w/ TP and OSU every play. You're so full of shit dude. He literally ran it every play and would see what I was in. Chuck it deep, run straight forward, or pitch it. It was the most bullshit game I've been a part of, or at least one of them. He does it all game every game. Don't kid yourself. Maybe he respects you and likes to have good games, but I call bullshit. You have to be out of your mind. Or you could be Chood yourself and just posing as him. That wouldn't surprise me if any of you have ever heard Chood talk, you know what I mean haha. Guy's not the most intelligent sounding person.

The EA sports forums close everything down. They never let you write anything. My forums have lasted a few hours there before being deleted.

Dvbuente here! The legend of Chood speaks! To answer your criticisms, give me about 45 seconds. What I do is I come out in the goal line set or the set w/ a wr to each side and and 3 running backs. I see if they run commit. If the player I'm playing run commits, then I have money plays that I run all game. They are: jet sweet, speed option, load speed option, triple option strong, quick option, running back seams, 4 verticals, and running back cross. That's 8 plays that I run all game to beat the run commit. If they don't run commit, then I know I have an even better chance now b/c I can open up my entire playbook! But to beat run commit in the triple option can be tough, so I've found the top plays that work. Feel me? And I'm sure most players don't run more than 10-12 different plays a game anyways haha.

I don't care if you don't mix it up, as you could see that I did the same thing to you over and over again and slaughtered you 40-7. You see, now that I know how to stop your option pass, you'll never have a shot at beating me again. That's for sure. B/c you can't run anything else haha. And if everyone on here knows how to beat your option pass w/ TP or Eric Berry, then I'd like that b/c it's exploiting you as the fraud you are.
And as for Wright at qb, I was trying anything and everything. I saw that guy on ps3 w/ all the youtube videos and I saw it, so I thought I should try it! As you can see, it didn't work out very well! hahaha... But anyway, I went from being ranked in the 170's w/ the Gator playbook to being in the top 100 not even a month later b/c of the Gtech triple option. No more run commit on me (Ldeezy did rip me though w/ his run commit, Clemson's d line is unreal).

Lastly, please stop the exaggerating. It is really awkward how you twist things to make yourself seem so correct. Your arguments are based on real events, which is better than making shit up out of your ass I guess haha. Anyway, I don't run TWO plays. I ran all 8 against you and there was nothing you could do about it. That's what bothers you. And you know what's funny? You knew before our game you were going to be Tennessee just so you could run the option pass w/ Berry. B/c you can't run it w/ any quarterback they have! ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, getting to pick your own playbook is a joke..its cool and all but totally unrealistic. You cant pick a great team and run a different offense in reality..thats stupid. If Texas all of the sudden switched to GT's playbook they would get murdered. They might have the personel in a video game, but not in real life. I want to see more realistic gameplay..some of you want to be able to have custom playbooks in 2011?? Thats crazy!! That'll turn this game into a complete offensive powerhouse. That's too much freedom. I think if you choose a "Ranked Match" then the playbook option should be eliminated, but you have any choice you want in an unranked game.
ReplyDeleteI also think that to avoid some of the speed cheese on defense it would be good for the game to make it impossible for you to change certain players to a different position based on their weight range or strength rating...
For example: a SS with a weight of 205(not 230 or above) and/or a strength rating below 75 should NOT be able to be subbed in at DE, DT, or LB. Its a simple way to fix it and logical. EA just isn't smart enough to realize that this stuff is abused in online gameplay...but then again they dont give a shit because they love the money they receive from us haha later guys

Dinger, this is CriMsonYanKee, BILLOSU is never gonna play you. Not even close. He only plays level 1's. You're way too good for him. I've played him once and I had to trick him into the game. I was sending him all kinds of messages talking crap, and then we got paired up in a ranked match. He of course backed out. So I immediately signed out and signed in under my boy's account and luckily I got paired up with him again. He accepted this time because my boy has a weak record (20-11) and I killed him. He had no clue it was me. I can't even explain how terrible he was. It was seriously like playing someone with a losing record. I freaking changed my daughters diaper twice during the game and let the CPU play some of my defensive plays for me and he couldn't do anything. It was ugly. I won 45-3 and I ran the clock the whole game. His 3 points were after I fumbled the 2nd half kickoff and he had nasty field position. I honestly don't remember him even getting a first down. Don't even waste your time playing him, you may as well play the CPU.

ReplyDeleteI mean really who the fuck is CHood, and B5 never heard of those bums, I was in the top 5 from 07-09 and the only people I remember is Craw and he wasn't great but he was a legit player...
On another note are you guys still running Speed Option and Option Passes thats some stuff that people were running back in August.. Maybe if you guys looked you would find some better plays, hell I don't even play this game and I know about the glitch WR screen, and the glitch Direct Snap. I'm kinda surprised people are still running Run Commit defenses or putting DB's on the DL, that stuff was easy to beat back when the game first came out, people should have figured it out by now but that goes to show you the average player isn't very smart.

anyways...b/c you beat someone once doesn't make them sorry...i've had the hell beat of me a few times of the past week and a couple times were buy guys that i never even heard of..the fact of the matter is that this game of full of cheezy crap but apparently every one on here knows about it and has their own form of cheese...if it works it works...i don't see anyone on here undefeated so some one can stop it..my only complaint about the game is the ranking system. i can have the same amount of wins angrypelini for the week but ill have 3 more losses and his avg opp is 4 and mine is 18 but he is higher than me for the week..
i don't understand why so many continue to play shit people all the time...i really don't care if i lose a game...i didn't play any of the past ncaa games so when i started playing this on i was 70-70 to start and the only reason i got good is b/c i started playing anyone i could i trying to take whatever they did good and use it..

Yeah he ripped me pretty good. 28-0 at halftime. He played w/ Florida and ran trips to the boundary and sent Demps in motion on a streak every play. Just another glitcher. I ran cover 2 man out of quarters and cover 3 out of dime and still couldn't stop it... His quarters defense had a defensive back at noseguard. Go figure. Just another joke out there. Dude really put it on me b/c I had no answer for his streak offense and I started to get desperate and chuck the ball... Which made me go down bigtime before half haha. He's beaten damn near everyone in the top 100 using this glitch offense and joke defense. I swear this game gets more and more boring by the day. It takes awhile to get someone who plays a good legit game. OComa12 is just another joke out there that relies on glitches in the game and AI and has zero skill...
GrundleGoblin... Yeah you and your brother both waxed me. He beat me twice with his triple option and I figured out what was up. I switched to it and went from ranks about 180 to 90th in less than a month with it. I got tired of the nano's up the middle too so I just said screw it and switched my playbook again. I have probably changed my playbook and preferred teams 8ish times since the game came out last year. I always rely on a good power run game but have used about 30 teams in online games. It makes it more fun that way. Doing the whole Texas/OSU vs. Florida every game online gets soooo old. But yeah, you and your brother are legit ball players and I respect that. I've had my share of doing stupid things like DB's at QB but it only lasted about 8 games b/c I didn't know how to execute it and realized how stupid I was being.
Anyone looking for a good top 100 check out Grundle, dude is legit and doesn't have any gimmicks like Coma2 or the rest of the gamers out there.

Oklahoma Coma waxed me like I was an amateur. I can't even remember how bad the score was at half but it was ugly. I just conceded, couldn't take it anymore. I don't even think I had a point on the board. He got up and I got flustered and started throwing picks left and right. He's one of, if not the best I've played. I'm still recovering from the beatdown he gave me. He put me in a nasty slump, I've been losing games lately that I have no business losing. Just got done playing SpurrierEra... Dude is the most straight up player I've played in the top 100. His defense is definitely legit. One of the best defenses I've ever played against.
